Once they’re “hired,” they negotiate a salary and begin earning an income. </li><li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Financial Literacy in Action: With their income, students move on to managing money. They search real housing listings, review lease agreements, compare transportation options, and make large purchases like cars—all while tracking their budgets and building credit. </li><li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Life Skills for Independence: As their simulation continues, they balance everyday responsibilities: paying bills on time, scheduling doctor’s appointments, navigating insurance, and learning everyday “how-tos” from writing professional emails to jump-starting a car. </li><li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">College Prep &amp; Beyond: Along the way, students also practice skills they’ll need for higher education—requesting letters of recommendation, managing academic and personal deadlines, and strengthening study habits that set them up for success in college and beyond.</li></ul>Each stage builds on the last, showing students how decisions in one area affect the next—just like in real life.
